Weddings
Whether its same sex, gay marriage or lesbian wedding our Celebrants would be delighted to marry you legally in Ireland. We are Interfaith Ministers who Minister to all faiths and none. We accept everyone and take people as they are. It doesn’t matter to us whether you believe in a faith path or not, in God / Spirit or not, we take each person as we find them.

Getting Married in Ireland
There are some formalities to getting married legally in Ireland. No matter what Ceremony is organised every couple must get a Marriage Registration Form (MRF) from the Civil Registration Office. They also require at least 3 months notice. You must have your Celebrant in place before you meet at the Civil Registration Office.

Ceremony Enhancements
When you talk to one of our Ministers or Celebrants they will talk to you about what kind of Ceremony you want. Whether there are people that need to be remembered who have passed on and what readings, music and other enhancements such as Hand-fasting, Unity Candles etc you would like.

Other Ceremonies
We are not just all about weddings. Many of our Ministers are very active in the community. Also we perform other ceremonies such as end of life celebrations, naming or welcoming ceremonies and also many of our Ministers provide Spiritual Counselling and meditations, among other services. Interfaith Ministers of Ireland
What is Interfaith?
Interfaith is not a religion. It walks among the religions. Interfaith begins when we create a bridge between one set of beliefs and traditions and another…An Interfaith Minister ideally is one who turns towards all, regardless of their beliefs or practices, with an open heart and mind, offering them a mirror to their own wholeness and their own divinity.
-Rev Susanna Stefanachi Macomb
Marriages are like fingerprints; each one is different and each one is beautiful.

Looking For A Legal Wedding Celebrant?

Ireland was the first country in the world to introduce same sex marriage by way of popular vote. In the referendum 62% of the Irish Republic’s electorate voted in favour of gay marriage. Ireland is now the number one destination wedding country for same sex couples.
“I am drunk on yes … It’s not that Ireland has changed today, but that Ireland has confirmed the change that we already knew had happened.”

Some Guidelines for Same-Sex Weddings:
Choose a seat not a side, either way you get a bride. Find a seat anywhere in the room; wherever you sit you’ll see a groom.
